Gauff is bidding to win back-to-back WTA 1000 titles but insists she isn't putting any pressure on herself in Wuhan.

It promises to be another great day of WTA Wuhan action with the quarterfinal round. All four quarterfinals are played Friday, with Coco Gauff and the US Open champion, Aryna Sabalenka, among those in action.

In the WTA Wuhan, China Women Singles 2024 quarterfinals on Thursday, Coco Gauff takes on Magda Linette.Gauff’s last competition was a win, 7-5, 6-2, over Katie Boulter on September 29, 2024

During the past two years, Zheng is 2-0 against Paolini in their head-to-head matchups. Their last one took place at the WTA Zhengzhou, China Women Singles 2023 on October 14, 2023 and was won by Zheng 6-2, 6-3.

The WTA Wuhan Open matches continue to come thick and fast, with all the round of 16 contests being played on day four with a number of star names set to be in action.
