COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A driver is in custody after a chase through Cobb County early Thursday morning. Officials with the Cobb County Police Department say the driver fled from an officer at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Glendale Place. Officers used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle a short while later.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office is adding robots it says will revolutionize security at the jail. Officials say these robots will help them step into the future of law enforcement. The robots will help monitor the perimeter of the jail and and do security rounds in certain parts of the jail.

The Woonsocket Police Department arrested a driver who allegedly fled from officers and crashed into multiple parked vehicles on Monday.

A man is in custody after Coweta Police said he led officers on a chase while driving in reverse on Tuesday. Police said a man, identified as 39-year-old Taron Stuart Overose, of Broken Arrow, in a red Kia van was driving erratically and caused a wreck on Highway 51 near Atwood's.
