The newly returned "Switchblade" Jay White scored a win over "Hangman" Adam Page to open AEW WrestleDream 2024 in Tacoma, Washington.

Jay White will be in action at AEW WrestleDream Before Tuesday’s episode of White had been out of action since July, as he had not wrestled since he lost to “Hangman” Adam Page on the July 6 episode of AEW Collision.

Hangman Page got involved in the main event of AEW Dynamite, helping Christian Cage against Jay White. Hangman came out earlier in the match, and hid next to the ring apron, biding his time and picking his spot. As Kip Sabian distracted the referee, Hangman delivered a Buckshot Lariat to White.

Another match could be added to Saturday's AEW WrestleDream after a newly-returned Jay White challenged "Hangman" Adam Page in a post-match promo on "Dynamite."

After Hangman Page moved on from Swerve Strickland following All Out, he found himself in the crosshairs of Juice Robinson. While trying to hang Robinson on the October 2nd edition of AEW Dynamite, Jay White would return to AEW and start his plan for revenge against AEW's resident cowboy before the pair met at October 12th's AEW WrestleDream event.
